Job Position: Senior Business Analyst

Job Description: Develop business process and system designs to meet Florida PALM (Planning, Accounting, Ledger Management) needs. Document project risks and issues and ensure timely resolution. Work with DFS Readiness Coordinators to validate FLAIR interface designs. Create flowcharts of current FLAIR processes in MS Visio using information from Budget Management, Payroll, Accounting and Finance, Disbursements, and Asset Accounting teams. Conduct unit testing to ensure functionality meets design requirements. Assist in project status reporting and milestone tracking. Facilitate stakeholder meetings to align on project requirements. Participate in Florida PALM workshops, office hours, and town hall meetings. Work with IT to design solutions, including integration of Accounts Receivable. Manage the transition of OAG users from DFS legacy systems to Florida PALM.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study. In the alternative, employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five years of progressively responsible experience as Business Analyst, Management Analyst, Associate (Technical), Customer Success/Technical Support Engineer/Associate, or related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

Salary: $110,000/year

Work Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 5 day 40 hr/wk.
